Quad B, Building 157 Renovation

Quad B, Building 157 is one of the four buildings undergoing a facelift to accommodate enlisted personnel housing for 330 enlisted soldiers in one-plus-one apartment style configurations. The $68.3 million design-bid-build construction contract includes installation of long-term energy-saving features such as solar water heaters, high-efficiency appliances and central air conditioning to improve the Soldiers’ quality of life.  Other renovated areas consist of bathrooms, walk-in closets, kitchen, service areas, manager’s office, mailroom, laundry rooms, vending area, janitor’s closet, mechanical rooms, electrical rooms, telecommunication storage rooms and seismic upgrades to comply with current building codes. MEH provided quality control services for mechanical and fire protection systems in this facility.
