Mauna Kea Beach Hotel

Due to the extensive earthquake damage the hotel sustained in 2006, the hotel was completely renovated and reopened in 2009. The Owner spent $150 million to include larger, redesigned guest rooms, new restaurants, new spa, new club house, and new air conditioning and plumbing systems. Also within the project‘s scope was the restoration of its famed original art collection integrated among public spaces and guest rooms.

MEH provided mechanical system design that included air conditioning, ventilation, plumbing, fire sprinkler systems and standpipe systems.
