The project consists of a 2-story classroom building, a multipurpose assembly hall, administration offices, a snack bar, and parking areas. Total construction cost is approximately $17 million with completion of construction in 2006. Our firm designed the plumbing, fire protection, air conditioning and ventilation systems with a heavy emphasis on Green Building Design and LEED. The project has received Gold certification with the U.S. Green Building Council.
Implemented environmentally conscious and sustainable features include waterless urinals, recycled rainwater for landscaping, high performance glazing to maximize visible light transmittance while minimizing solar heat gain, light pipes to bring natural daylight into the space, daylight sensors, and occupancy sensors.
